BASF Scholarship Applications

The Burgettstown Area Scholarship Foundation was established in 2003 to benefit Burgettstown High School senior students.  From 2004 to 2010 the Foundation awarded $4,500 annually.  Beginning in 2011, the Foundation now awards $8,000 annually to the following scholarship recipients chosen by committees of school personnel and Foundation members.  An application must be completed by the student to be considered for these scholarships.  Applications are available for download on this webpage.  Please check with the Guidance Office for the due dates for these applications.

BASF Blue Devil Award – awarded to a senior who is involved in multiple school activities.  The student must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 after seven semesters and plan to attend a college or technical school.   The selection will be made by the BASF based on the contributions of this student to the school environment.

BASF Leadership Award -- for a deserving senior who has demonstrated outstanding leadership throughout his/her educational career.  To be eligible, the student must have served as a leader in either academic or non-academic activities. This does not necessarily mean you must hold a titled position within the activity.  The student must have maintained a minimum 2.8 GPA after seven semesters.  

BASF Fine Arts Award -- awarded to a senior who has been involved in the arts throughout his/her educational career.  To be eligible, the student must have participated in elective classes and/or activities that focused on art, music or drama and have demonstrated a talent for the arts either in the school or in the community.  The student must have maintained a minimum 2.8 GPA after seven semesters.
